Add to Canvas

Place files onto your Canvas workspace for editing.

What It Does

Import your images and videos directly onto the Canvas for selection and editing.

How to Use

  1. Upload from the toolbar.
    • Click the Upload icon in the Canvas toolbar to upload images or videos.
  2. Drag and drop.
    • Drag and drop assets directly onto the Canvas.

Frame

Shortcut: F

Create rectangular containers on the Canvas to organize and group related elements.

What It Does

Frames act as containers on the infinite Canvas — use them to structure multi-panel layouts, group related elements, or define artboards for specific export sizes. Add images, videos, text, or shapes inside a frame to keep related content together.

How to Use

  1. Select the Frame tool.
    • Click the Frame icon in the toolbar.
  2. Draw the frame.
    • Drag on the Canvas to define the frame size, or click to create a default 1024×1024 frame.
  3. Add content.
    • Place images, videos, text, or shapes inside the frame for organized design layouts.

Shapes

Add rectangles, ellipses, lines, and other geometric elements to your Canvas.

What It Does

Shapes are flexible building blocks for your layout. Use them as masks, backgrounds, or graphic elements.

How to Use

  1. Select the Shapes tool.
    • Click Shapes in the toolbar.
  2. Draw a shape.
    • Choose a base shape (rectangle, ellipse, line, etc.) and draw it on the Canvas.
  3. Adjust appearance.
    • Set size, corner radius, stroke, and fill.

Quick Tips

  • Duplicate and align Shapes to build grids, cards, or repeated structures.
  • Follow smart guides when aligning and arranging Shapes.

Pencil

What It Does

Draw freehand vector lines on the Canvas with the Pencil tool.

How to Use

  1. Select the Pencil tool.
    • Click Pencil in the toolbar or press P.
  2. Adjust appearance.
    • Set stroke width, opacity, and color.
  3. Draw anything.
    • Draw freehand on the Canvas.

Text

Shortcut: T

Add headlines, body copy, and labels as independent layers on the Canvas.

What It Does

The Text tool places editable text layers on the Canvas — headlines, body copy, labels, and more. Each layer sits independently on top of your design and supports font selection, sizing, weight, alignment, and hierarchy.

How to Use

  1. Select the Text tool.
    • Click Text in the toolbar, then click the Canvas to create a text layer.
  2. Enter and format your text.
    • Type or paste your content, then set font, size, weight, and alignment.
  3. Integrate it into your layout.
    • Combine text with shapes, images, and grids to build clear, readable content.
