Lovart Exits Beta — Design Agent Now Publicly Available with ChatCanvas
San Francisco, CA — July 28, 2025 — Lovart, the San Francisco based AI company pioneering the world's first multimodal Design Agent, has exited beta and is now publicly available, ending an 800,000-person waitlist and making its creative platform accessible to anyone, anywhere.
The milestone was celebrated last week at IDEO with more than one hundred designers, founders, and investors in attendance. Product growth expert Ying Yang hosted the launch party, which featured hands-on workshops, live demos, and keynotes that showcased ChatCanvas, a new real-time workspace where users and Lovart's agent "think and build together."
"AI isn't here to take over creativity—it unlocks it, like a camera for the mind," said Melvin Chen, Lovart's Co-Founder and CEO. "ChatCanvas is the place where your ideas and our agent meet, iterate, and ship instantly."
Founding Engineer Takumi demonstrated the Design Agent's range and speed with three live cases, highlighting how quickly users can move from concept to production-ready assets.
Guest speaker Robert Scoble, tech futurist and author, explored how Lovart's architecture moves creative work toward a "Holodeck-style" environment where spatial design and AI converge. Yiwei Lu, Founder of Yiwei Gallery and the C Art Festival, shared a replay of her newest exhibition assets—storyboards, animations, and AR filters—all built with Lovart during the beta.
Since its closed beta began in May 2025, Lovart's multimodal Design Agent has enabled over 300,000 early users to generate professional, fully editable images, videos, audio tracks, brand kits, and 3-D renders on a single infinite canvas—compressing days of design work into minutes and eliminating the need for multiple point tools.
A New Creative Workspace: ChatCanvas
ChatCanvas is Lovart's real-time, infinite workspace where users collaborate with the Design Agent to:
- Generate and edit images, videos, audio, brand kits, and 3D renders in one place
- Iterate on ideas rapidly with multimodal prompts and feedback
- Move from concept to production-ready assets in minutes instead of days
By unifying previously separate point tools into a single canvas, Lovart aims to streamline creative workflows for designers, founders, marketers, and studios.
